On April 26th, 2023, a significant milestone was achieved at Yantai LNG as the last vault lifting of five storage tanks constructions took place. This marks the completion of tank civil engineering and transition to the installation phase of the project. The construction progress has been smooth, laying a solid foundation for the project commissioning by the end of 2024.
As the driving force behind the initiative, H.Sterling has joined forces with China Urban-Rural Energy (CURE), its fellow shareholder to construct an all-encompassing LNG supply chain tailored to the needs of Shandong province. Presently in the advanced stages of developing an upstream supplier platform, H.Sterling collaborates closely with the other shareholders in securing binding agreements with downstream users. The Yantai LNG, prominently spearheaded by H.Sterling and CURE, promises to deliver unwavering energy support and natural gas emergency backup capacity to Shandong Province and beyond, encompassing the East and North China regions. This ambitious undertaking will undoubtedly bolster regional economic and social development.
