H. Sterling Group Brings U.S. Clean Tech to Yangzhou

Yangzhou, China — H. Sterling Group and Jiangsu Hengyuan International Engineering Company (“Hengyuan”) were invited by the Government of Yangzhou City to attend the 2021 Yangzhou International Economic, Trade and Tourism Festival on April 18th at the Yangzhou Canal Grand Theater.

The event, hosted by the Yangzhou Party Secretary and Yangzhou City Mayor, was attended by over five hundred delegates from companies based in China and around the world. H. Sterling Group and Hengyuan, along with American company Dynamis Energy LLC, held a signing ceremony with the Government of Yangzhou to kick off the development of a major mobile waste management project to be located in the city.


At the opening ceremony, Yangzhou Party Secretary Xia Xinmin declared that as a city historically open to international trade, Yangzhou continues to foster a friendly business environment and welcome outstanding companies from around the world to invest and do business in Yangzhou. Yangzhou City Mayor Zhang Baojuan highlighted Yangzhou's recent economic and industrial development, especially noting that the city’s GDP exceeded 100 billion US dollars and per capita GDP reached over 20,000 US dollars by 2021.


As a highlight of the festival, thirty-two companies from China and around the world signed agreements with local government bodies, further establishing Yangzhou as a preferred investment destination. In this year alone, Yangzhou has attracted 180 projects to be based in the city across sectors including the automobile industry, manufacturing, modern services and technological innovation; total investment in these projects has reached 122.46 billion Chinese yuan (18.8 billion US dollars).


During the festival, H. Sterling Group and Hengyuan representatives met with Zhu Baixing, Director General of the Yangzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone, to further discuss potential investment and development of a waste management project adopting Dynamis technology in the Yangzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone. Zhu stated that the government will fully support Dynamis technology and assist H. Sterling and its business partners in completing necessary procedures in Yangzhou.
